Prepare for Windows 7
We typically do not suggest upgrading to new operating systems until the first service pack is released; however, with the release of Windows 7, we have decided to make an exception. Windows Vista offered very few compelling reasons to change business desktop operating systems. Two years later, there are generally two positions companies are finding themselves in:
- Dissatisfied with a Vista upgrade (and averse to the risk of troubles with another new operating system).
- Still using Windows XP, a seven year old operating system, which software and device manufacturers will soon abandon.

By thoroughly assessing where you are now and how such an upgrade may impact your business (for better or for worse), we can help you choose an appropriate approach to implementing Windows 7 in your business. |
